PURPOSE:To positively recover oil dusts generated upon cooking and to prevent a wall surface and the like from being contaminated by constituting the range hood of a main body made hollow in its inner part and formed in a substantially inverted L-shape by a horizontal frame member and a vertical side frame member; a main body suction port provided at the lower surface of the horizontal side frame member; and a blower provided within the main body so that a suction port is substantially opposite to the blower within the vertical side frame member; and providing an oil reservoir within the lower surface of the vertical frame member. CONSTITUTION:A blower 4 is provided at the inner part of a main body 1 made hollow in its inner part and formed into a substantially inverted L-shape by a horizontal side frame member 2 and a vertical side frame member 3 so that a suction port 5 is directed toward the inner part of the frame body 3 and a discharge port 6 is provided to be coincident with a main body discharge port 7 provided at the rear part of the upper surface of the frame body 2. At the lower part of the frame member 2 a main body suction port 8 is provided. A filter 9 for reducing contaminations within the main body 1 by trapping oil dusts contained in the soots, is disposed in the suction port 8. The filter 9 and the front panel 3a of the frame member 3 are inclined toward the lower part of the frame member 3. Furthermore, an oil reservoir 17 is provided in the inner part of the lower surface of the frame member 3. |
