PURPOSE:To obtain the minimum information highly accurately, by switching a display device to a running mode by which an absolute bearing, a destination bearing, and approaching degree to the destination are displayed, and to a map mode by which a map and a running locus are displayed. CONSTITUTION:A blip displayed on a screen is aligned with the destination on the map, and a memory key is set. The destination is inputted into a coordinate detector 12. Recording is performed in a running information memory 16. The blip of the screen is aligned with the starting point on the map. During the running, the outputs from a vehicle speed sensor 13 and a direction sensor 14 are computed in a CPU15, and the signal indicating the present position and said signal are recorded in the running information memory 16. Based on once recorded signals, the absolute bearing, the destination bearing, and the approaching degree to the destination are displayed on the display device 19 in the running mode from the running information memory 16. Switching to the map mode can be performed by a mode switch 17. |
