To avoid the bad odour of foot perspiration, the stockings or socks are rinsed after washing with the aid of a solution containing an agent capable of preventing the decomposition of sweat, the source of the odours in question. The solution preferably contains alkyldimethylbenzylammonium chloride, alkylamide of natural fatty acids and a synergist such as glutaric acid, in addition to certain adjuvants such as a detergent, a perfume and an auxiliary disinfectant. Once the fabrics are impregnated with the solution, the effective is durable. |
