s-Triazolo(4,3-a)pyrazine derivs. - (I) where R1 and R2=same or different alkyl, pref. is not > 4C; X=NH2, OH, formamido or acetamido - Treatment of bronchial disorders, e.G. asthma and bronchitis, by oral or injectable administration. - (II) (R1=R2=CH3) (2.5 pts.) was dissolved in water (30 pts.), and Na acetate (3.7 pts.) and glacial acetic acid (1.8 pts.) added. Cyanogen chloride was passed through soln. at 10 deg.C until 1.55 pts. was absorbed. Suspension was stood at 0 deg.C for 1 hr., filtered, solid washed with water, dried at 50 deg.C, and cryst. from ethanol to give I (R1=R2=CH3; X=NH2) m.p 230-232 deg.C.
