PURPOSE:To simplify temperature control and prevent possibility of fire breakage by statically cooling a high voltage applied device through application of Peltier element. CONSTITUTION:The one sides on N and P type elements are connected in common by a plate 9, individual connecting plates 10, 10' are provided at the other end, and a cooling plate 12 is provided on the plate 9 through the thermoconductive and electrically insulating ceramic plate 11. When DC current is applied to the plates 10, 10' of Peltier element, the temperature of plate 12 drops, while the temperature of plate 13 rises. The cooling plate 12 should be provided to the device so that the temperature is transmitted thereto. The Peltier effect permits easy control of temperature difference in accordance with an amplitude of a current applied and the heat radiation efficiency can be raised by fixing the cooling pipe to the heat radiation plate 13. This method does not require the insulation oil and assures satisfactory temperature control without any fear of fire breakage. |
