PURPOSE:To obtain toner which has low fixation temperature, excellent offset resistance, and a wide fixation temperature range by incorporating a block copolymer or graft copolymer as a principal component formed by binding crystalline polyester with a specific amorphous vinyl polymer chemically. CONSTITUTION:The material formed by binding the crystalline polyester with the amorphous vinyl polymer chemically is used as a binder. The amorphous vinyl polymer has a functional group which enables the formation of the crystalline polyester and block or graft copolymer in use, and the ratio Mw/Mn of weight-average molecular weight Mw to number-average molecular weight Mn is >=3.5. Consequently, the offset resistance and low temperature fixation performance are excellent and the fixation temperature range is wide when the visible image of an electrostatic image is formed. |
