PURPOSE:To prevent the omission or blur of a character when the title printer is used under low temp. environment, by providing a heater for heating a recording part. CONSTITUTION:The movement of a carriage 3 is performed between the left and right ends C, C' of a chasis but a heater 10 is arranged onto the chasis on the under side of the carriage 3 between the left and right ends C, C'. The heater 10 can be freely selected from an infrared heater and an electric heating wire and there is no special limit in the size of the heater if a recording mechanism part can be heated. The function of the heater 10 is set so that the recording mechanism part comes to about 20-25 deg.C even under low temp. environment. The ON/OFF operation of the switch of the heater 10 may be performed manually and, when an automatic system due to a thermostat is employed, the switch is set so as to be turned ON, for example, when environmental temp. comes to about 10 deg.C. By this constitution, the recording mechanism part can be heated to about 20-25 deg.C even under low temp. environment and good recording can be performed and no omission or blur is generated in a character or picture pattern being recorded. |
