PURPOSE:To eliminate completely the texture of an original and to obtain an image which is free from the stained texture, by detecting the peak value of the high frequency component of the original texture part to use it to the compensating voltage and as a result to have the following to the fluctuation component of high frequency of the original texture level. CONSTITUTION:An image signal A is amplified 6 and applied to a peak holding circuit 3 and an operational amplifier 13 as well as to a high pass filter (HPF)7 and a low pass filter (LPF)8. Then the high and low frequency components VH and VL are extracted. The output VL of the LPF8 is compared with the reference voltage Vref through a comparator 9 to detect the texture part of an original. Then only the high frequency component is extracted out of the output VH of the HPF7 by a detecting signal DS and fed to a peak holding circuit 12 via a capacitor 11. The output of the circuit 12 is applied to the amplifier 13 in the form of the compensating voltage C and along with the signal A and the value B. |
