ATOMIC OSCILLATOR

PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of the frequency deviation even if the output of a multiplier leaks out to the subsequent amplifier, by modulating the phase for a part of the output of a voltage control type quartz oscillator with the output of a low frequency oscillator and then mixing another part of the output of said oscillator with a multiplied output. CONSTITUTION:The output of a voltage control type quartz oscillator 1 is partially applied to a mixer 5 via a multiplier 4; and another part of the output of the oscillator 1 is modulated for its phase at a phase modulator 2 with the output of a low frequency oscillator 3 after passing a synthesizer 7 to be applied to a mixer 5. The output of the mixer 5 is multiplied to a transistion frequency of atom through a multiplier 6 and then applied to a cesium beam tube 8. The output of the tube 8 is amplified by an amplifier 9 to receive a detection of the phase to the output of the oscillator 3 through a phase synchronism detector 10 and then converted into an input frequency which is applied to the tube 8 and to the voltage corresponding to the difference of the atomic resonance frequency. This voltage is integrated by an integrator 11, and the oscillator 1 is controlled by the output of the integrator 11. Thus a shift of the oscillating frequency is corrected.
