PURPOSE:To remarkably reduce fixed pattern noise, by adding or subtracting a signal after the transfer from an input horizontal shift register to a vertical shift register train to or from an input or output signal of the charge transfer device. CONSTITUTION:Charge left at the transfer from an input horizontal shift register 1 to a vertical shift register 2 are picked up via an output section 6. Since the polarity and amplification factor of the original signal are dependent on the construction of an input section 4 and an input horizontal shift register output section 6, the output signal is added with the next input signal inputted from an input terminal 9 at an addition circuit 8 after the adjustment of a gain and phase adjusting circuit 7. The addition can be done so that a signal due to left charge caused at the transfer to the K-th vertical shift register can be summed to a signal to be transferred to the K-th vertical shift register. |
