PURPOSE:To absorb and remove NO2 and SO2 within the waste gas to neutralize acidic condensed water by coating the surface of an auxiliary heat exchanger with an inognanic heat-resisting paint prepared by adding alkali to alkali metal silicate and metal oxide pigments. CONSTITUTION:A main body 1 of a water boiler is constituted by a governor 2, an auxiliary heat exchanger 4 provided in a combustion waste gas flow passage 3, a main heat exchanger 5, and a condensed water receiver 10. The surface of a base material 8 of the auxiliary heat exchanger 4 is coated with an inorganic heat-resisting paint 9 prepared by adding to a paint (in this case, trade name ''Ceramitite '' of SHIKOKU KAKEN KOGYO K.K., Japan is used) consisting of alkali metal silicate and metal oxide pigments, more than one kind of alkali selected from hydroxides, carbonates of alkali metals or alkaline earth metals such as calcium hydroxide and the like. |
