PURPOSE:To improve the working efficiency for installing the titled boiler on the roof of a structure by a method wherein in the hot water boiler in which a heat accumulating section incorporating a tank therein is connected to the body of a heat collector, a cover attached with a connecting terminal 14 is removably fixed to the side wall of the heat accumulating section and the lead wires of an indicator and a temperature senser are connected to the connecting terminal. CONSTITUTION:A temperature detecting sensor 6 is attached to a screwed projection 5 formed on the side wall of the tank 4 through a packing and the lead wire 9 of the senser 6 is drawn out from a lid 8. The lead wire 9 is then connected to the connecting terminal 14 of a cover 3 through an opening 10 in the side wall of the heat accumulating section 2 together with the lead wire 16 of the indicator (not shown) and the cover 3 is screwed into the opening 10. With the above structure, the lead wire 9 of the sensor 6 is connected to the cover 3 prior to the installation of the hot water boiler on the roof so that the lead wire 16 of the indicator can be connected to the terminal of the cover 3 after the installation of the boiler without dropping the cover 3 to thereby improve the working efficiency for the installation of the boiler on the roof. |
