PURPOSE:To cook a food efficiently and in a short time and to generate scorched meshes on the food by allowing the molded body forming the cooking apparatus to contain pulverulent bodies of a substance having a large dielectric loss. CONSTITUTION:The molded body S forming a main body of a cooking apparatus F is caused to contain pulverulent bodies R having a large dielectric loss which becomes an exothermic body. As a substance having a large dielectric loss, suitable is silicon carbide, ferrite, carbon or the like. By utilizing this exothermic operation of the substance, the food to be heated is heated together with heat generated by the food to be heated itself. Therefore, the heating efficiency is improved and cooking can be performed in a short time, and further the food is encircled by heat even from the outside of the food and suitable scorched meshes are generated thereon. |
