PURPOSE:To change a selection condition easily wothout increasing a load on an operator when great numbers of selection conditions are specified, by grouping and storing combinations of possible key items and sorting conditions. CONSTITUTION:Combinations of possible key items and sorting conditions are grouped and stored and when conditions of selection are changed, a code given to a group is only specified to perform sorting processing. For example, a CPU reads a sorting program out of a magnetic disk device DK0 and stores it in a main storage part MEM; and a code is specified on a keyboard KBD to store its key item and sorting condition in the MEM. According to the sorting program, an input file, a working file, and an output file are processed by disk devices DK1a, DK2a, and DK3a respectively. Then, the CPU decodes the code stored in a variable item to perform specified processing, and the result is stored in the DK3a. |
