PURPOSE:To reduce feed resistance and to make smooth wire feeding over a wide range possible by controlling the feed speed of a motor on a push side constant and controlling a motor on a pull side so as to feed the wire at a specific multiplied constant speed according to the feed speed of the motor on the push side. CONSTITUTION:When a motor 3 on a push side starts running in a control circuit provided in a control box of a feeder, the motor voltage of the motor 3 is detected by a resistor R1 23, a volume control R2 18 and a resistor R3 25 connected to the motor 3 and a power source output 22. Said voltage is transmitted to a transistor (TR1) 26 via an amplifier 24, and is transmitted to an amplifier 30 by the R2 18. As the TR1 goes on, a relay 27 operates and the detected voltage amplified with the amplifier 30 is connected to the base of a transistor (TR2) 33. The feedback voltage is changed by a volume control R10 32 to set the feed speed of a motor 7 on a pull side at 1.0-1.5 times the feed speed of the motor 3, whereby a welding wire is fed. |
