PURPOSE:To obtain an easy-to-use programmable controller which meets various demands by permitting a user to set the conditions of what kind of abnormal state is detected and of what control state output is inhibited. CONSTITUTION:When a temperature fault flag F2 is set, an output inhibition flag F0 is set and a battery fault flag F1 is also set; when an external input signal 11 is turned on, the output inhibition flag F0 is set. Once the output inhibition flag 0 is set, output update operation is not performed and all external output signals from an output circuit 3 are turned off. Whether each instruction read out of a user program memory 1 successively is an output instructin for updating the output data of an input and output memory 4 or not is judged from its instruction code to make a normal output instruction ineffective, so the output data of the input and output memory 4 are never rewritten. |
