PURPOSE:To shorten the installation time and increase the strength by providing cutouts in a bellows-shaped blocking plate and engaging the cutouts with the ridges of a slide frame 4 in accordance with the elongation of the blocking plate. CONSTITUTION:A fixed frame 3 is mounted on the side wall of the main body 1 of the air conditioner, and the slide frame 4 is slidably connected to the fixed frame 3. The sectional configuration of the slide frame 4 has a fixing opening 7 and a ridge 8. Cutouts 9 and 10 fitted in the ridge 8 are provided at both ends of the bellow-type blocking plate 5, and the upper end of the blocking plate 5 is secured to the slide frame 4 and the lower end thereof is secured to the fixed frame 3. When the slide frame 4 is lowered, the projected width 14 of the blocking plate 5 approximates to the inlet opening width T of the opening 7, and the blocking plate 5 does not shake. When the slide frame 4 is raised, the projected width H2 of the cutout 10 becomes small, and the cutout 10 is engaged (Fig. 5) with the ridge 8 and positively fixed. |
