PURPOSE:To prevent any deformation of the partition walls of a container, and perform complete junction between the container and an upper lid by preheating the joint of the container and the upper lid at a temperature within the range which doesn't soften a resin, and fusing the container and the upper lid so as to join them together. CONSTITUTION:A container 1 containing an electrode plate group, and an upper lid 2 placed over the container 1 are placed on a conveyer line 10, and sent into a preheating furnace 11. They are either stopped inside the furnace 11 for a while, or moade to pass slowly inside the furnace 11 so as to make their walls to be heated. Next, after the joints of the container 1 and the upper lid 2 are heated to a fusing temperature by means of a hot plate 15, the hot plate is removed away. After that, the upper lid 2 held with a holding member 14 is pressed upon the container 1 with a given pressure so as to make the container 1 and the lid 2 to be unified together by fusing their joints together. |
