PURPOSE:To perform random access of a video disc, by alternately performing different operations as reproduction at one in a pair of pickup means, and accessing and waiting at the other. CONSTITUTION:An output of a pickup means is applied to one input terminal of the 1st comparison circuit 25 via the 1st switch 21 and an amplifier circuit 24. On the other hand, an output of a pickup 14 is applied to one input terminal of the 2nd comparison circuit 27 via the 2nd switch circuit 22 and an amplifier circuit 26. An output of a program set device 28 is applied to the other input terminal of the 1st and 2nd circuits 25 and 27. A detected output of the comparison circuits switches the selecting state of the 1st and 2nd switches 21 and 22. Further, this detected output is applied to a driving circuit 29. |
