PURPOSE:To reduce the circuit in scale and also to simplify the adjustments by utilizing that a pulse waveform with delay distortion has waveform distortion opposite in polarity and equal in amplitude before and after a main pulse. CONSTITUTION:Around time T, input signal A given waveform distortion owing to delay distortion is supplied to input terminal 11. This signal A is branched to two by delay circuit 12; one becomes waveform C by passing through circuit 12 and the other has its amplitude and polairty controlled by weighting circuit 14 and then becomes waveform B with two separate pulses of the identical and opposite polairites by waveform equalizer circuit 18. Branched waveform outputs B and C are added together by adder circuit 16, so that waveform D with the delay distortion removed will appear at terminal 17. Consequently, a delay equalizer which usually required three taps can be realized by two taps and, therefore, only one weighting circuit is needed, so that amplitude adjustments taps will be simplified. |
