PURPOSE:To easily execute a mesurment having high accuracy in a short time, by constituting so that displacement of one rotary member in the direction of tension of a belt extended to a pair of rotary members is deteted as the extent corresponding to tension of the belt, and is converted to an electric signal. CONSTITUTION:The lower end part of a shaft 26 of a displacement deteting means 24 of a belt tension measuring device is supported so as to be freely rotatable by a bearing member 38. Also, this device is constituted so that displacement of one shaft 26 for supporting the belt, or the bearing member 38 is converted to a variation of an electric resistance value of piezoelectric semiconductor elements R1, R2, and tension of the belt is known from a variation of this electric resistance value. Accordingly, comparing with a conventional divice using a spring balancer, a measurement whose reproducibility is much better can be executed, and a measurement having high accuracy can be executed easily in a short time. |
