<p>Non-catalytic hydroxylation of allyl alcohol takes place with aqs. solutions of 3-5C percarboxylic acids, pref. perpropionic- or perbutyric acids, in pref. water acid mole ratios of 25 to 45:1 and allyl alcohol: percarboxylic acid mole ratios, opt. 1.1 to 3:1 at 30-90 (40.70) degrees C.</p> |
