<p>Bismith salts of D-alpha-methiminobenzyl penicillin in which the molar ratio Bi-penicillin is 1:1, 1:2 or 1:3 are prepd. by the reaction of an alkali (ne earth)metal, ammonium or amine salt of D-alpha-methiminobenzyl peniccilin with bismuth chloride or nitrate in soln. at -30 degrees to +50 degrees C. The salts have antibacterial activity.</p> |
