PURPOSE:To accumulate sheets at the optimum position in accordance with the length of the sheets in a device to accumulate the sheets issued from a printing device or the like by constructing limiter plates to be projected on a sheet- receiving plate in accordance with the length of the sheets. CONSTITUTION:For using a sheet stacker, at first, the sheet stacker composed of a base plate 6 and a sheet-receiving plate 7 fast held on the base plate is drawn out from a stacker-containing part provided under a printing device. Then, when the sheet-receiving plate 7 is released from a lock lever 16 on the base plate 6, the receiving plate 7 is turned upward by a spring 8, and simultaneously, a top part 7b of the sheet-receiving plate is bent horizontally, and positioned to face to a sheet-issue roller of the printing device. At this stage, either of a limiter plate 10 or 11 pivoted on the rear side of a sheet-receiving plate 7 via a shaft 12 or 13 is turned by a spring 14 or 15 in accordance with the size of the issued sheets, and projected from the upper face of the sheet-receiving plate 7 for setting ready for use. |
