PURPOSE:To provide a core tube supporting means including a cylinder which is a main component and provided with a roller locking concave groove with a slope formed on the inner peripheral surface thereof for accommodating a roller retained by a retaining ring so as to prevent the roller from falling off when a driving shaft is pulled out. CONSTITUTION:A cylinder 10, which is a main component of a core tube supporting means 2, comprises an inner cylinder 10a and an outer cylinder 10b which are made separately and united in a body by screws 15. The inner peripheral surface of the inner cylinder 10a is provided with, for example, six roller locking concave grooves 11 formed thereon at equal spaces in the peripheral direction, and two rollers 12 retained by a roller retaining ring 14 are accommodated in each concave groove 11. The size of the roller 12 is selected in such a manner that when the roller 12 is located at the central portion of the concave groove 11, the distance between the bottom of the groove 11 and the surface of a shaft 1 is substantially equal to the diameter of the roller 12, so that when the roller 12 is located at the above position, there is no constraining force of the shaft 1. The outer periphery of the outer cylinder 10b has concave cavities 23 formed at three places thereof, for example, and tube rollers 20 are disposed at those places. The roller has a fall-off preventing bar 21 of smaller diameter inserted in the interior thereof. |
