PURPOSE:To decrease the number of man-hour for assembly, and also to elevate a quality, by providing a groove extending over the whole circumference of a rise part of a back cover formed for a portable clock, and after that, molding plastic in specified thickness on the circumference of the rise part by means of injection molding, etc. CONSTITUTION:On the whole circumference of a rise part 2 of a back cover 1 formed for a portable clock, a groove 3 is provided. After that, plastic is molded in specified thickness on the circumference of the rise part by means of injection molding, etc. As for a quality of material of the back cover 1, stainless steel is used, and the groove of the rise part can be worked by a press or cutting. As for a shape and size of the molded plastic, it is unnecessary to limit them in particular, and it is only necessary that said molded plastic is depressed to its inside. The back cover obtained in this way is handled more easily than a conventional structure, the number of man-hour for assembly of plastic packing is reduced, and the quality in its waterproofness is elevated. |
