PURPOSE:To remarkably enhance the decorativeness of a base metal by directly or indirectly forming hard plating of Ni, an Ni alloy, Cr, a Cr alloy or the like or corrosion resistant plating of a Pd alloy, Au or an Au alloy on the base metal by a wet plating method and by coating the plating with a TiN-base film. CONSTITUTION:Zn, a Zn alloy, Cu, a Cu alloy, stainless steel or Al is used as a base metal. On the surface of the base metal hard plating of Ni, an Ni alloy, Cr, a Cr alloy or the like with >=300HV hardness or noble metallic plating of a Pd alloy, Au or an Au alloy with superior corrosion resistance is formed directly or indirectly by a wet plating method. A TiN-base hard film with >=450HV hardness is then deposited on the plating by an ion plating method. |
