PURPOSE:To infilter lead (alloy) thoroughly into the microholes of a high-density sintered alloy material by coating a flux on the surface said material then infiltering the lead (alloy) into the material. CONSTITUTION:After a sintered alloy material is cleaned of its surface by defatting and drying, a flux is coated on the positions of the alloy material to be infiltered. Then the oxide film on the surface of the sintered alloy material is removed by the effect of the flux and the formation of oxide films is prevented. While said state is maintained, lead or a lead alloy is infiltered therein. Or if the lead or lead alloy is infiltered in the sintered alloy material by coating a pastelike infiltering material of a flux and the lead or the lead alloy in lieu of the flux on said material, the waste of the lead is eliminated. |
