PURPOSE:To highly true up bars in parallel with one another in a conveyor consisting of a convey-in unit and a convey-out unit which is revolved faster than the convey-in unit and extends in series therewith, by overlapping a part of the convey-in unit with a conveyance unit provided with transverse grooves, to prevent the bars from becoming irregular. CONSTITUTION:When bars 7 such as welding rods are slowly carried in at random by a convey-in unit 1, the bars are scooped up by an adjusting conveyance unit 3 made of an endless belt 13 having transverse grooves and provided in the convey-in unit 1, so that the bars are put in the transverse grooves of the belt one by one. The bars 7 thus corrected of obliqueness or the like are carried by the convey-in unit 1 again so that the bars reach rotary discs 4 installed at the outlet part of the unit. The bars 7 are then attracted by a magnet 5 so that the bars are transferred onto a convey-out unit 2 without rolling on the peripheral surfaces of the rotary discs 4. Since the convey-out unit 2 is revolved faster than the convey-in unit 1, the bars 7 are carried out at intervals from the convey-out unit. |
