PURPOSE:To eliminate the irregular torque of a pulse motor by limiting a current which flows through a coil for the prescribed period of time at the switching time of exciting phase, thereby equalizing the current which flows through the coils. CONSTITUTION:A current limiter 5 is added to a distributor 3 which inputs an incremental pulse PF and a direction switching signal RF and outputs selection pulses P1-P4 and control pulse PT. This limiter 5 outputs a prescribed period stop pulse PS to a constant-current circuit 2 when inputting a control pulse PT, thereby interrupting the output of the pulse voltage from the circuit 2 for the prescribed period, and interrupting the current flowing through the coil of the pulse motor 1. In this manner, even if the current which flows through the coils of a pulse motor is controlled constantly by the constant-current circuit, the current flowing through the competitive coil in the excitation of the pulse motor becomes uniform, thereby eliminating the irregular torque and erroneous stepping angle. |
