PURPOSE:To seal each member in an underwater molded motor by providing an O-ring in an annular groove formed across the end surface between the outer periphery of the surface opposed with a bracket of a bracket support formed by molding the periphery of a coil end and the prescribed inner layer outer sheath. CONSTITUTION:The outer peripheries of a stator core 2 and a stator coil end 5 are molded with resin molding member 4 made of unsaturated polyester resin, a bracket support 41 buried with threaded metal 7 is formed, and a bracket 7 and a clamping bolt 12 are provided. The outer periphery of the member 4 is covered with an inner layer outer sheath 61 made of metal or glass and an outer layer outer sheath 62 made of unsaturated polyester resin. An annular groove 13 is formed over te end surface between the outer periphery of the surface opposed to the bracket 4 of the support 41 and the sheath 61, and an O-ring is inserted into the groove 13, thereby sealing between the sheaths 61 and 62 and between the sheath 61 and the support 41. |
