PURPOSE:To show adequate indexes to an operator and to utilize a computer efficiently by processing one job step to some extent, and then predicting the ending time of the job step on the basis of said processing proceeding. CONSTITUTION:The total number (n) of processed files specified by a job control statement, the number (m) of files processed immediately among said files, and the time (t) required for the processing are inputted from storage parts 1, 2, and 3 to an arithmetic device 4 to divide t(n-m) by (m), and further current time T is inputted from a storage part 5 to the arithmetic device 4 for addition to calculate predicted time, which is displayed on a display device 6. |
