<p>The plant is for heating and/or evaporating water, steam, etc., and around or in one or more pipe coils (1) for the medium to be heated are one or more electrical induction coils (2). The pipe coils (1) are connected to conduits for medium input and output (3,4), and form, possibly with a short circuit unit (5) and parts of the conduits (3,4) closed electrical circuits heated by the induction coils (2). Within the induction coils is an input conduit (3) feeding water to a steam generator, and an output conduit (4) for steam or heated medium, the pipe coils (1) forming several electrical circuits arranged axially one behind the other inside the induction coils (2). The induction coils are arranged as primary coils in a transformer, and the pipe coils as secondary windings, possibly with a short circuit unit, both primary and secondary windings being arranged around an iron core.
