PURPOSE:To reduce generation of a crack in a band, by mounting reinforcing materials in the vicinity of both ends of a diamond tip and preventing folding of the ban in these reinforced portions in accordance with applied tension to the band. CONSTITUTION:A band 11 is a steel made endless belt, while diamond tips 13 are formed in such a manner that many small grains of diamond are buried in a relatively soft metal of brass and the like. A reinforcing material 12 is more difficult to be folded than the band 11, further difficult to cause a crack in the band due to repetition of folding, still further suitable flexibility is provided, and said reinforcing material is curved to such an extent that the band 11 is not folded in accordance with tension applied to the band 11, here, for instance, phosphorous bronze is used for said reinforcing material. |
