PURPOSE:To perform decision of a scrap as a jam in a chute when a level of actual vibration is less than an estimated value, by detecting the actual vibration from cutting of the scrap in a chopper and comparing the detected vibration with the estimated value of derived vibration. CONSTITUTION:A vibration detector sensor 10 is mounted to a chopper 20, and a cutting vibration signal is input to a vibration frequency analyzer 12 via an amplifier 11. While a normally operating vibration frequency of a rotary blade 5 in the chopper is counted by a PLG9 and detector 13, output from an arithmetic unit 14 and compared in the vibration frequency analyzer 12, then its result is fed to a decision circuit 15. On the basis of this result, decision of a scrap jam and discrimination of line operation and stop are performed in the decision circuit 15. |
