<p>The handler holds and sorts plates for an automatic cylindrical (1) trimmer. The trimmer is synchronised with feed (2) conveyors (3) and has two knives (4,5), mounted on moving supports controlled by a detector (8) fixed to a marker. The cylinder is hollow with two circular flat side faces. It has a perforated peripheral surface (10) inside which are fitted, with slight play, three internal radial plates (12-14). These have a common axis with the cylinder and form three zones entry (16), hold (17) and sort (18). The holding section covers the upper half of the cylinder.</p> |
