PURPOSE:To efficiently manufacture a steel fiber reinforcing material, by laminating plural sheets of steel plates, having a corresponding thickness to a length of the desired steel fiber reinforcing mateial, clamping the steel plates and cutting the plates with a milling cutter from an end face of a laminated plate group. CONSTITUTION:Steel plates 5 in thickness h, corresponding to the length of a reinforcing material, are layer built on a table and held by clamping members 6. The rotary shaft 9 of a milling cutter 7 in a cutter head 10 is supported in the direction crossing at a right angle with seams 8 of a laminated steel plate group, and given with a feed amount corresponding to width or thickness of a desired steel fiber material. The above described laminated plate group is cut from its end face, and a steel fiber in desired dimensions can be obtained. Only requirement of selecting the above described plate thickness can obtain the fiber in different dimensions by using the same cutter. |
