PURPOSE:To shorten the idle time by allowing an indexing pin an indexing driver etc. which are necessary for work indexing to be provided on a jig board, thus permitting the work indexing operation during rotation of the jig board. CONSTITUTION:The inner race W as a work is placed on a work receiving base 27, and positioned and claped by clamp clutches 28 and 60. Spherical cutting for grooves A1 and A2 is performed by cutting-operating a grinding wheel G in this state. When the above work is completed, a tail strock 50 and an indexing pin 30 retreat, and a work driver 62 rotates one time, and then the work W rotates by 60 degrees counterclockwise on the receiving base 27, through the engagement between a driver clutch 63 and a groove G2. Then, the indexing pin 30 and the tail stock 50 advance again, and the work W is positioned and clamped, and grinding for grooves C1 and C2 is performed in this state. Simularly also the grooves B1 and B2 are ground. |
