<p>PURPOSE:To prevent reverse flow of mixture gas to an auxiliary suction gas system in a titled device having main and auxiliary suction gas systems by closing a sub throttle valve in the auxiliary system at the abnormal time when a relief valve in a bypass passage of a supercharger formed in the auxiliary system remains opened. CONSTITUTION:In a suction gas device having a main suction gas system 2 which supplies new gas through a main suction gas port 4 opened at a combustion chamber 3 and an auxiliary suction gas system 5 which supplies supercharged gas through an auxiliary suction gas port 6 with a relief valve 22 interposed at a bypass passage 21 which surrounds a supercharger 18 provided in the system 5, an abnormality detector 34 which detects the opening state of the valve 22 due to the malfunction of the valve 22 is provided. This detector 34 is composed of an abnormality discriminator 36 which inputs the outputs of an open or closure sensor 37 and a pressure sensor 38. When the abnormality is detected, a signal is applied to a reverse flow stopper 35, and a sub throttle valve 20 is opened in an auxiliary suction gas passage 19 via a solenoid 49.</p> |
