PURPOSE:To easily and numerously manufacture the captioned crystal oscillator, by adhesively attaching a crystal plate material of the captioned oscillator, used for an electronic watch and the like, to the surface of a cylindrical body and grinding the crystal plate material with a cylindrical grinding wheel. CONSTITUTION:Rectangular crystal plates 3 (20) are glued to the peripheral surface of a cylindrical body 1 of radius R, and a curved surface 21 of curvature R is formed to one main side of the crystal plate 3 by a grinding wheel 4, rotated in the vicinity of the cylindrical body 1, then a plano-convex shaped crystal plate 20 is obtained. Then the crystal plate 3 is inverted and performed again with cylindrical grinding to obtain a double convex shaped crystal plate 20. This double convex shaped crystal plate 20 is glued to the peripheral surface of another cylindrical body with a condition of r<R, and performed with cylindrical grinding and chamfering in a chamfer 22, then a cylindrical crystal plate 20 can be obtained. The obtained crystal plate 20 is cut to the direction of Y- Y' and used. |
