摘要 PURPOSE:To prevent generation of any partial discharge, by winding a crepe insulating paper between primary and secondary windings so that wrinkles of the crepe insulating paper is perpendicular to the winding conductors. CONSTITUTION:Conductors for primary and secondary windings 2, 4 run laterally, while wrinkles of a crepe insulating paper constituting a main insulation 3 run longitudinally and undulate irregularly, hence, multiplicity of gaps are produced. A coil 10 having the crepe insulating paper wound therein is stood in a mold 12 through a core 11, and terminals 17, 18 are secured to the mold. Then, predrying and vacuum deaeration are carried out, and a liquid resin is injected from an injecting port 14. As the resin is transferred toward the coil through an inlet 15, the resin penetrates into the crepe insulating paper along the wrinkles thereof, thereby allowing the entire coil 10 to be impregnated. Then, a casting resin 19 is injected from the injecting port 14. As the resin 19 is transferred toward the coil 10 through the inlet 15, the resin 19 pushes up the impregnating resin and moreover flows out from an outlet 16. When the injection is stopped when the liquid level reaches a necessary height, the inside of the main insulation 3 and minute portions such as the vicinity of the winding conductor are filled with the impregnating resin, while the other portions are filled with the casting resin 19. Thereafter, both resins are hardened.
