PURPOSE:To aim at shortening the work incidental to a polishing process, by elevatably arranging an annular gutter coaxial with a polishing tank in the outer peripheral part stopper in the gutter so that any useless space is eliminated. CONSTITUTION:A bearing 3 fitted onto a rotary shaft 2 which is secured at its upper end with a dish shaped rotary tank 5, is fixed on a base 1 by means of a bearing support 4. An annular polishing liquid gutter 10 to which a stationary tank 13 is supported, is secured, below the tank 5, on the base 1 by means of a supporting bed 11, and an elevatable annular gutter 18 is provided in the vicinity of the other peripheral part of a polishing tank composed of the rotary tank 15 and the stationary tank 13. A guide gutter 20 in the gutter 18 is provided with an accommodation box 25 which opens to the inside of the guide gutter 20 and also provided with a stopper 28 which is opened and closed by a fluid pressure cylinder 27, in an introduction port 26 at the terminal end of the guide gutter 20 and just before the introduction port 26. The gutter 18 is elevated when a motor 32 is operated after all completed works are taken out to the outside of the system. |
