The cord-drawing rail (1) of the curtain-drawing device is composed of a circular profiled tube made of a light metal alloy and has two cord channels (10, 11) which extend inside it and are arranged alongside one another at a horizontal distance from one another. The ends of a drawing cord, each of which is connected to a preliminary slide, run in the cord channels (10, 11). The preliminary slide runs in the channel (13) of the cord-drawing rail (1) and, when the cord ends are moved in the direction of the arrow, the front edge of the said preliminary slide comes to rest against the head (16) of a slider (15) which is displaceably arranged in the cord-drawing rail. The slider (15) is integrally connected by its downwardly projecting limb (9) to a C-shaped profiled curtain ring (18). The profiling of the curtain ring (18) is adapted to the profile of the cord-drawing rail (1) and to the profile of a rail holder (3) which grips around the cord-drawing rail (1). The preliminary slide for the curtain-drawing device is composed of a preliminary slide body, on which at least one sleeve-like channel is formed and into which a screw bolt is screwed which fastens the drawing cord passing through the said channels. <IMAGE>
