PURPOSE:To permit both blade edge parts of a drill to be ground efficiently by fitting a stopper on the drill holder and allowing the holder to be turned by 180 degrees. CONSTITUTION:A drill W is held by the frame body 11 installed on the slide base 7 which moves in C-D direction, and ground by the grindstone 5 which moves in A-B direction. The frame body 11 is equipped with the holders 17 and 16 for holding the drill W and further the stopper 22 for positioning the holders 16 and 17. When the drill W is ground, the drill W is held between the holders 16 and 17, and the holder 17 is made to abutt the stopping surface 22a of the stopper 22, and then one blade edge of the drill is ground in this state. Then, the frame body 11 is turned by 180 degrees in G direction, and the holder 16 is made to abutt the stopping surface 22a of the stopper, and the other blade edge is ground in this state. |
