The motor has a rotor (1) which is enclosed by a split ring (7) with the stator stampings packet (8) located on the outside of the split ring (7). The motor is included in the flow pipe for the pressurised fluid with inner and outer support rings (11,21a) at either end of the stator, inserted between the latter and the motor housing, for receiving the pressure. The stator stampings packet (8) extends axially beyond the ends of the rotor (1) at either side, the end of the rotor (1) abutted by the inner support ring (21a) and the latter incorporating at least one seal (24,25) contacting the split ring (7). The motor allows high pressure within the rotor space without damage to the split ring.PS.
