In the case of electronic components which are provided with supply lead wires, the supply lead wires must be directed, bent and cut off for installation of the components. This is done in processing machines to which the components are supplied via supply strips. The previous brackets, in the form of hairpins, on such supply strips were unsatisfactory. A spring bracket is thus proposed according to the invention which consists of a two-layer limb which forms a sliding support for a moving limb, which is loaded by a spring, such that the supply lead wires are always gripped reliably virtually independently of their position within the spring bracket. <IMAGE>
