PURPOSE:To obtain the aluminum die casting heat exchanger by a structure wherein the front and rear housings of the exchanger are so configurated as to be able to be formed by using the same metal mold. CONSTITUTION:The front housing 1 and the rear housing 2, the two of which are symmetrical with each other, are formed from the same metal mold as the two pieces of housing 8, each of which is equipped with an electrode terminal part 4, an ignition confirmation part 5 and an exhaust port part 6 with blind holes provided individually thereat. In order to obtain said front housing 1, the exhaust port part 6 is removed from the piece of housing 8 and the electrode terminal part 4 and the ignition confirmation part 5 are respectively bored. On the other hand, in order to obtain said rear housing 2, the exhaust port part 6 is bored and the electrode terminal part 4 and the ignition confirmation part 5 are removed. After that, said worked housings 1 and 2 are jointed together to form the heat exchanger. |
