PURPOSE:To simply perform detection with high accuracy by a device wherein a fluid pressure sensor having exciting coils and detecting coils wound round the magnetic core is brought into contact with the arbitrary peripheral surface of a tubular member, and exciting power is applied to the coils to attain information of fluid pressure from a magnetic circuit resistor. CONSTITUTION:A sensor 1 is so constructed that a pair of exciting coil 12 and detecting coil 13 are wound round each of two side sections of a magnetic core 11 U-shaped in cross section, and this subassembly is housed in a package 14 formed of resin or so to have a unitized structure. With an open end of the magnetic core 11 being brought into contact with the arbitrary peripheral surface of a tubular member 2 to be measured, exciting power is applied to the exciting oils 12 from an exciting supply circuit. On the other hand, output voltage detected from the detecting coils 13 of the sensor 1 is input to a power detection circuit. Detection power can be obtained from both thus detected output voltage and exciting current. |
