PURPOSE:To detect flaws on the curved surfaces of a ridge part by supporting a probe with an endless belt applied wrapping a plurality of rotors so as to profile the curved surface. CONSTITUTION:As a driving block 24 reciprocates horizontally with the roration of a motor 30, a ribbon 15 also turns in reciprocation around rollers 16-18, a tension roller 20 and a small roller 21 and others. A supporting member 7 fastened on the ribbon 15 reciprocates along guide grooves 1-3 and a guide hole 4 so that a probe PB at the lower end reciprocates frofiling the curved surfaces of the fidge part of an angular billet E and the proximity thereof. As the angular billet E is shifted lengthwise, combined with the reciprocative rotation of the probe PB, flaws are detected on the entire area thereof accurately. |
