PURPOSE:To improve lubricating property of a spherical kinematic pair by constituting a piston from a piston cover having a notched step groove on the outer periphery and a molded article plugged in said cover and engaging an end of a connecting rod through the spherical kinematic pair. CONSTITUTION:In a piston device 1 constituted from a connecting rod having a spherical body 2 on one end and a larger end portion 3 at the other end and a piston 5 connected to said body 2 through a spherical kinematic pair, the piston 5 is constituted from a piston cover 8 having a cavity 7 in the interior and synthetic resin 9 plugged in said cavity 7 to form a concave surface 9'. Also, the piston cover 8 is provided on the outer peripheral surface with a notched step groove 10 which will be caulked to prevent the synthetic resin 9 and the spherical body 2 from being drawn out. In this constitution, lubricating oil injected from a nozzle 12 by the centrifugal pump action of a rotary shaft 11 is supplied to the spherical kinematic pair portion to provide satisfactory lubricating property. |
